This community is where you UK nostalgia buffs can randomly waffle on for hours and hours about those old Schools and Colleges programmes, as well as the classic idents and presentation that went along with them.

Share your thoughts, memories, pictures or just feel free to go off on a tangent, as long as it is vaguely related to Schools Programmes or TV Presentation! :-)

Maintained by the rather charming queenmartina, who wishes *she* was the testcard girl.

Now included in Cult Telly's alternative cult television directory for your convenience! :-)

Choc-a-block's recommended sites

For everything you wanted to know about idents, presentation etc. but were afraid to ask...

BBC Cult's Introduction to testcards and TV Presentation.
TV Ark-has the most comprehensive clip library I've come across. Consistently brilliant!
TV Cream-not just about the programmes-also about nostalgia and pop culture, and doesn't take itself too seriously!
TV Whirl-nice site run by enteirah, full of logos, ads and more.
MHP-the grandaddy of all pres sites-also has a mailing list.
Sub TV-packed full of comprehensive ATV information, startups, endcaps, schools mp3s and loads, loads more!
Andrew Wiseman's Television Room-excellent site, great for logos and PIFs.
Look and Read-fantastic site dedicated to the now legendary BBC Schools programme.
Irish TV-Richard Logue's excellent site concerning TV presentation in both Northern and Southern Ireland over the years. Ceefax and Aertel information pages.
Fred Harris Facebook fan page-work in progress!
My YouTube channel-a little slice of schoolie web heaven! ;-)

Anything you think I've missed out? Or are there any region-specific links that should be up here? Let me know!
