Damnit, I can not sleep as I have the 'Swim Song' in my head (PIF circa 1982). Worse thing is that 'Charley says' is down at my mum's place and I can't remeber all the lyrics. Also must mention that this was the theme song of mine and my friends as we traveled our way through Uni life, not too long ago.

Also, from watching 'Charley live', I noticed my neighbour (and ex Eastender) in one of the anti drink driving PIF's. Was well impressed...the PIF outweights being Nick Cotton by a long shot.

I can't remember all the words either-that'll be mission for the weekend! I am, however, still traumatised at seeing Rolf Harris' shrivelled up foot sticking out of the water while going on about why kiddies should learn to swim. Ewwww.

Yup, he's my neighbour and oddly enough the place I see him most often is own the local swimming pool (I am an obsessive swimmer).

As for Rolf Harris, that PIF just gave me the fear every time I saw it, and still does to this day. There's Rolf going on about how he almost drown when he was three and how his parents made sure to get him lessons a short time after.

With the Swim Song, I know it's on Charley Says as I am the proud owner of that video. Unfortuantely my darling 4 year old son loves it too (which is an excellent thing in my book as he's pretty sharp on what not to do with strangers and road safety. I think it is a valuable learning tools...more about that later
) and he's taken it down my folk's place in Wales with him. If it was with me I'd post the lyrics but it's a no can do for me at the moment.
